Tampico Accra Inter-City Marathon is organized by Medivents Consult, in partnership with Acadia Industries Limited, producers of Tampico.

Date, times and course
The race will be organized once a year, preferably in October.
Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026
Time: 5:00am
Start Point: Trust Sports Emporium (Bukom Boxing Arena).
Finish Point: Trust Sports Emporium (Bukom Boxing Arena)
Categories: 5-Kilomters, 21-kilomters
Others: Wheel Chair, Skating
Maximum duration: 21K (3hours) 5K (1hr:30 min)

Refreshment stations: There will be refreshment points at every 2Kilomteers.

Pick-Up of Running Vests: The running vest must be worn visibly throughout the race.
There will be pick up points to be announced in September, 2026.

Participation conditions
Open to amateur and professional runners aged 18 and over who are fit for competitive running or hold a licence.

Registration
Participants can register through *380*21# with GHC100.
Includes t-shirt, refreshments, medals, entertainment, insurance and medical assistance.

Running vests are personal and non-transferable. No refund in case of non-participation.

Safety
An ambulance will be deployed on the route.
Officials of Ghana Red Cross will also be on hand to provide medical assistance.
Participants must assist any runner in distress until help arrives.

Insurance, liability and behaviour
The organisers hold insurance for the event. Participants must take out individual insurance and assume full responsibility for their participation.

Image rights
The Organiser reserves the right to use race images.

Competitors consent to their image being used. Personal use only unless written authorisation is granted.

Liability waiver
Each participant declares they have no contradication to competitive running and waives any claim against the organisers. Withdrawals must be reported to the nearest marshal with the bib handed in.
